We are both born and raised in the Northwest Territories (NWT) Canada. Our roots have always been in the Sahtú; focused on our family, community, and landscape. Home is where the heart is and we never stop being amazed at the wonders of this beautiful landscape we call home.
Fishing, Canoeing, Shoal Tents, Paddle Boards, Boat Charters, Wildlife Viewing, Hiking, Aurora Viewing (during adventures), and Ice Road and Custom Boat Adventures that include local culture and traditions.

The Sahtú is a beautiful, unique place and we don't want to limit your experience. We will gladly help you customize your own adventure. Whether it's a trip up the Mackenzie River, Keele River, Kelly Lake, or Great Bear Lake, we want you to come away from this experience with many fond and exciting memories.

James is Métis and hails from Tųlı́t'ą, NWT. He has a vast knowledge of the land that comes only from a lifetime of experience. All guests must sign a waiver for all adventures. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver on your behalf. Signature of parent/guardian will have to be made at the time of rental in front of a Sahtu Adventures staff member.
A shoal tent is an inflatable floating raft with a tent topper that allows you to sleep out on the water. First of its kind in the NWT!

Travel by air with North-Wright Airways from Yellowknife through the communities of Délı̨ne, Fort Good Hope, and Tųlı́t'ą, NWT, and then travel the Sahtú with Sahtu Adventures by land and water.
